Virus claims 4 more lives in Haryana

Chandigarh, July 24

With 780 fresh cases, the Covid tally reached 29,755 today. Four deaths pushed the toll to 382, with a fatality rate of 1.28 per cent. One death each was reported from Gurugram, Sonepat, Hisar and Nuh.

Fresh cases were reported from Faridabad (203), Gurugram (127), Sonepat (65), Rewari (59), Ambala (55), Panipat and Rohtak (35 each), Karnal (30), Kurukshetra (25), Mahendragarh (24), Panchkula (21), Yamunanagar and Jhajjar (20 each), Fatehabad (17), Palwal (15), Kaithal (10), Nuh (9), Sirsa (6) and Bhiwani and Charkhi Dadri (2 each).

In Ambala, 24 cases were reported from Ambala City and 11 from Ambala Cantonment. Cases in Kurukshetra included a 29-year-old doctor, a 42-year-old man from Bhiwani, a 34-year-old woman, a 64-year-old man and a 32-year-old man. Meanwhile, 704 patients were cured in the last 24 hours. — TNS
