NSUI protests at Sector 17 Plaza

Chandigarh, September 17

The NSUI wing of Panjab University organised Berozgari Diwas at Sector 17 Plaza to mark the 70th birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The protest was organised by arranging various stalls for selling 'pakoras', tea and polishing boots to show the plight of the youth due to the "mismanagement and mishandling" of the economy by the Modi-led government, said NSUI national secretary and Chandigarh in-charge Shaurya Veer Kadyan.

NSUI national social media chairman Manoj Lubana today said the party protested in a unique manner to show the current situation of the dissatisfied youth. NSUI national social media coordinator Anuj Singh, Sukhjeet, Jashan Kamboj, Rahul Kumar, Rajkaran Baidwan, Attinderjit Singh Robby and Sarvottam Rana were present during the protest. — TNS
