Former Panjab Univesity students meet Vice-Chancellor

Former Panjab University students interacted with the Vice-Chancellor, Prof Raj Kumar, and demanded Senate elections.

Kuljit Singh Nagra (MLA Fatehgarh Sahib), Malwinder Singh Kang (former PUCSC president and senator), Harpreet Singh Multani (former SOPU leader), Simranjit Singh Dhillon (SOI leader), Parminder Singh Goldy (PUCSC president in 2007 and AAP leader), Manoj Lubana (former SOPU president and chairman of social media cell of NSUI), and Rahul Kumar (vice-president of PUCSC) held a meeting with the VC today. They claimed that the VC had ensured them of a solution to the dispute. "We will now hold a joint meeting with all stakeholders, including political parties, PUTA and syndics, in the first week of December and proceed further accordingly," said Nagra. "The intent of the BJP-RSS is crystal clear. Any resistance by the BJP-RSS will be dealt with force," said Kang.

Lubana said: "The BJP-RSS thinks they can fool all people. But I just want to remind them, this is PU."
