11 crows found dead in Biodiversity Park

Our correspondent

Gurugram, January 8

The death of 11 crows at Biodiversity Park here in the past two days has sparked fears of the outbreak of avian influenza in the area. The authorities have taken the samples and sent to Jalandhar.

The authorities said although no bird flu cases had been reported in the district so far, the Health Department had been put on alert.

"People should abstain from undue panic. We are taking all precautions," said zonal wildlife officer RP Dangi.
