MBBS session begins at KCGMC

Karnal: The MBBS session for 2020-2021 has began at Kalpana Chawla Government Medical College (KCGMC), Karnal. Earlier, amid the Covid restrictions, the session had to be delayed by a few months. This is the second batch of MBBS that would study the new curriculum implemented across the nation from 2019 onwards. As many as 120 students have taken admission in the new session. The foundation course was formally inaugurated by Director Jagdish Dureja. The Director, Dean and Medical Superintendent welcomed the students.

Girls excel in poster-making event

Ambala: Three students of Sanatan Dharma College secured the first prize in a state-level inter-college and inter-school poster-making competition held at Khalsa College, Patiala, in association with DBT-Government of India. Ruchika, Iti Saini and Bipasha from the mathematics department brought laurels to the college. Principal Rajendra Singh and department head Naveen Gulati congratulated the students on the achievement. As many as 28 schools and colleges had participated in the competition.

Workshop on communication at DAV

Faridabad: The training department and the holistic growth department of the DAV Institute of Management (DAVIM), Faridabad, organised a workshop on "Communication: There is always a better way" for the first year students of BBA (CAM), BCA and BBA (BE) courses. Jaya Goyal, chairperson the of Women Entrepreneur Cell-IAMSME of India, and a corporate trainer, said, "Communication does not mean merely being able to speak good English, but also encompasses the skills to convey your message to the other person in the right sense without involving non-verbal communication."
