National Human Rights Commission closes 32 deaths’ case

Chandigarh, February 17

The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has closed the case pertaining to 32 deaths during violence in Panchkula following conviction of Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh in August 2017. In its order, the NHRC said no further interference was required since the case was already before the High Court. — TNS
